Not Quite An Empty Nest

I thought when my daughter went up to look for work in SA that would be it.  My kids would be gone.  Unfortunately she can't find a job.  Her father told her to start commuting after a month of looking.  She had been staying with her brother but that situation wasn't good.  Hubby wants her to pay for her own apartment so no permanent move until she gets a job.  It's weird to have her back.

Other notes, NOLA is going to happen soon!  Little over 5 weeks and we go:)  I'm so looking forward to the retreat.  I've never done anything like this.  I'm worried the in-laws will do something stupid about our trip.  I really don't want to talk to them about it, they do try every once in a while.

The GR M/M Romance group has been nuts lately.  I don't know if it's the end of summer or what.  I try to stay out of it.  Overall I love the group.  The mods are pretty good there and I think they try really hard to make it a good group.  I feel bad though.  Some of those that I watch for have had the hardest time.  I'm hoping it will all die down and things will get back to a more normal level.
