So I decided today to try out this blogging thing. I'll admit I don't expect to be any good at it but that's ok. It's for me and me alone. I really think of this as more a journal;)
I'm trying to make a fresh start on everything this year but of course it isn't going smoothly. I will keep trying. I wanted to try and make my transition from "stay at home mom" to just plain "housewife" a little easier on me. I can't believe that my both of my kids will be over 18 next month. When did that happen? I am not sure this will be easy. I had my Nic at 18, I was still in high school. My little brother was 6. It's hard to imagine no more kids. Hubby always makes fun when I say something like that. He is trying to talk me into another so of course that just gives him the opening. I want to enjoy this time with him though. We didn't have it before the kids....I mean I already had Nicolas by then so it was straight into married with a kid at 19 for him and I. I love him and want to see what time with just us is like:)
So this year is a biggie. Nic turns 21 and Maggie 18. Hubby and I are going to be 39 with our 20 wedding anniversary as well. Lots of change and lots to get use to. Life is about to get interesting;)
